Game ready asset
It’s a high quality game ready asset optimized for Cryengine game engine. Textures baked from high poly to low poly model. Textures can be used in other DCC tools that support specular workflow.
For Cryengine use – use provided FBX file. Drag and drop FBX and textures to your Cryengine project folder. Model have been checked. Feel free to ask in case of any questions.
Apperance
How this low poly military case 3d model may look like in the game or 3D project? As mentioned before for better appearance and to make the prop match your scene / game level a tad better I’ve added 4 variants of colours (4 sets of high quality texture).
You can compile down for the optimization if that fidelity is not needed for simple filler prop for example. It’s still a basic military crate so doubt for the production ready prop you would need 2k textures but I left that choice for you. In case you need it you can simply use Cryengine’s compiler (if you use it for a game).
How to import this low poly military case model to Cryengine?
Importing to Cryengine is the easiest by using their FBX importer.
- Select both meshes ‘military_case_01_basic’ and PROXY mesh
- Go to File > Export > FBX
- Check Limit options to ‘Selected Objects’
- Click Export and save to your desired location on your drive
- Use Cryengine FBX Importer (You can simply drag the FBX and textures into Asset browser within your project)
- Material and mesh files will be generated
- Double click on imported mesh in your asset browser. There set up proxy type for Physics Proxy. Save.
- You may want to adjust materials by dragging textures into the corresponding slots (diffuse (albedo), bump (ddna) and specu).
- For variations you can use the same mesh simply duplicate the material and put in other versions of textures then assign material
by duplicating the same mesh and dragging another material version using different version of textures.
You may want to refer to Cryengine Documentation on how to export / import game assets using FBX Importer and asset preparation.
Usage with Blender
If you want to use it in Blender you can use it in the EEVEE renderer using Specular BSDF shader. Check Shading tab setup for details, it’s already setup.

My other 3d assets
Consider checking my models in my store page here. If you have any questions or need some help use quick info form on the left on my store page or questions tab on the product page. Soon I will upload couple of more military crate 3d models and some other game props that would allow you to build a proper military camp 3d model or scene. Still WIP though. Also more military equipment 3d models are coming soon.
