Can’t complete a purchase for a digital product or 3D model because your card isn’t supported?

We sometimes receive questions from customers who are unable to complete a purchase for a digital product (such as 3D models) because they believe their card (for example Visa or a local debit card) is not supported by the payment gateway.

What payment options are available in this situation if a customer would like to complete the purchase and download the digital product as soon as possible?

In many cases, a PayPal account is not strictly required to purchase digital products or 3D models.

When PayPal is selected at checkout, customers may be offered the option to pay by debit or credit card without creating or logging into a PayPal account (sometimes called "guest checkout"). Availability of this option can depend on factors such as country, browser session and PayPal's own checks.

If the guest card option is not available, creating a free PayPal account usually allows the payment to be completed smoothly using the same card.

After a successful payment, the digital product or 3D model becomes available for immediate download from the customer’s account.
